What you can expect
From the first idea for a new production facility through to commissioning thereof, our "Major Project and Turnaround Management" unit partners with the divisions in the process of making decisions and realizing investment projects.
You will plan our new facilities for BASF in Asia, taking care to ensure that implementation is functionally appropriate, on time and on budget.
During the conceptualization phase, which will take place in Ludwigshafen, you will work closely with project stakeholders from Germany, elsewhere in Europe and Asia and with our partners.
Supporting the project handling strategy, coordinating the order and pursuing goals will all be in your hands.
After the two-year conceptualization phase, you will have the opportunity to continue to monitor and support the detailed planning and realization of the facilities in Asia.
What we expect
You have a degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering or chemical engineering.
You also have knowledge and skills in preparing facility and plant concepts and in project management.
Through your actions, you support the company's goals at all times and take new approaches in order to develop creative solutions.
You communicate self-confidently and authentically and can address customers' needs and requirements and successfully meet them in the process.
You use your good English language skills to communicate with others within the international community.
